This is a shared garden space, with that comes a few restrictions to ensure that no member's garden impacts other gardener's ability to grow their stuff!
This list is to give an idea to all members of what membership agreement clause means where we identify what is restricted from being grown.
Since you are owner of the bed for only one growing season at a time, you cannot plant anything that is aggressively self seeding, a perennial, or a tree/bush that would be expected to grow for many years. Please note that we do have communal beds, so some of these things that you may want to have growing could be planted into a communal bed; please see the list of communal produce, if there are items that you would be interested in seeing, please send us a note to say what it is, we may have enough interest to adjust the communal beds or add a new permanent tree/shrub to the garden (please note there is a process for approval, so this will not be instantaneous!).
No plant that will grow taller than 3 feet (36")
No plant that will self seed aggressively
No perennials or long lived plants
