Volunteers and tools needed to build the Sunshine Garden!

In order for The Sunshine Garden to become a reality, we need to fill 200 volunteer shifts to make it happen.  Shifts are 3 to 4 hours long and will take place during April 25th, May 1st-3rd and May 8th-10th, 2015.  Please lend us a hand!  We need people and we need tools!  Let's work together to build something great for the community!

Build Shifts

o  Shift 1 (site prep/cut wood): Saturday, April 25th 9-noon 
o  Shift 2 (site prep/cut wood):  Saturday, April 25th 1-5pm 
o  Shift 3 (build garden boxes): Friday, May 1st 6-9pm
o  Shift 4 (build garden boxes): Saturday, May 2nd 9-noon
o  Shift 5 (build/fill garden boxes): Saturday, May 2nd 1-5pm
o  Shift 6 (fill garden boxes): Sunday, May 3rd 11am-3pm 
o  Shift 7 (build garden boxes): Friday, May 8th 6-9pm
o  Shift 8 (fill garden boxes): Saturday, May 9th 9am-noon
o  Shift 9 (fill garden boxes): Saturday, May 9th 1-5pm
o  Shift 10 (fill garden boxes): Sunday, May 10th 1-4pm

o  Mitre saws (12" blade preferred) 
o  Rebar cutters
o  Wheelbarrows (any size)
o  Shovels
o  Flat nosed shovels 
o  Rakes (any size)
o  Hammers
o  Sledgehammers
o  Cordless drills
o  Cordless impact drivers
o  Levels (any size)
o  Tape measures
o  Carpenter squares
